I was trained at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition where I learned core coaching skills. I learned about all aspects of food & food production, from the soil it is is grown in, to the benefits of local and organic farming vs. commercial farming. Additionally, I was taught over 100 dietary theories and focused on the most popular today including Paleo, Vegan, Gluten Free, Raw, Ketogenic and Blood Type. As an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, I was trained to focus on what eating & lifestyle habits best support the individual person rather than the philosophy of one size fits all. The other half of the training was focused on balancing stress, career, exercise and other lifestyle factors - what I call the CORE pillars of health.
After my INHC certification, I completed a doctor approved Hormone Course in the Spring of 2018. This provided me with additional knowledge about how our endocrine system works, the common hormonal challenges we face today and how to support clients nutritionally with disrupted hormones.
In 2019, I will complete both my C.H.E.K Holistic Lifestyle Coach certification and become a Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner.
When I complete my FDN-P exams I will be able to run diagnostic lab work internationally to support my clients who are struggling with complicated digestive and hormone health related issues.
